However, the angles can be disadvantageous as well. Looking down from the escalators on the second floor glass rings are incredible ways to pick off unaware opponents. Gamers will be able to quickly identify the locations of enemies in lighted areas, particularly if they are in a common sight line. Any illuminated areas should be avoided later in the game if possible. The "Starbucks" on top Ultra is a perfect example of a safe dark area that is a strategic place to hide and drop loot items. It may seem like an obvious tip, but dark areas of the mall are the only areas that should be occupied for a long period of time, especially in the mall. This is a feasible option if the entrances to the stores are slightly farther away from the spawn. The second approach is to find a good location and scan for nearby players. The map is essentially a large oval of spawns, with each surrounding the stores in the center. No matter where players spawn on the map, there will be an enemy on either side of the area. This can be risky depending on the spawn. The first is taking an Emercom like strategy by rushing into the stores immediately. The first is the corner of the map with the Emercom Extract, and the second is on the opposite side of the map near the Railway Extract. On the interchange map, there are two main POI's outside of the mall that are dangerous.
